CVR Energy Inc (CVR Energy) is a diversified holding company. It is specialized in the refining of crude oil and manufacturing of nitrogen fertilizer through its holding companies, CVR Refining L.P and CVR Partners, LP. It produces and sells high-value transportation fuels such as gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, and gas oil. The company also produces pet coke and other refined products such as propane, butane, sulfur, slurry, and specialty products like propylene and solvents. CVR Energy produces and markets nitrogen fertilizers in the form of ammonia, urea ammonia nitrate (UAN) and other urea related products. The company also owns interest in crude oil gathering system, pipelines and storage tanks. It sells refined petroleum products to customers in Coffeyville, Kansas and Wynnewood, Oklahoma and also sells bulk quantities to customers through the New York Mercentile Exchange; and fertilizers in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Colorado, and Texas. CVR Energy is headquartered in Sugar Land, Texas, the US.
