Huaneng Power International Inc (HPI), a subsidiary of Huaneng International Power Development Corporation, is an independent power producer. The company develops, constructs, operates and manages large thermal and hydro power plants in China through its subsidiaries, which include Tuas Power Group in Singapore, and Ruyi Pakistan Energy and Huatai Power Pakistan, carry out the generation, the business of wholesale and retail of power and other relating utilities. It operates coal-fired and gas turbine power plants, new energy power projects and related facilities, including ports, marine transportation and power distribution. The company serves regional grid companies in China, Singapore, and Pakistan. HPI is headquartered in Beijing, China.
