PolyMet Mining Corp (PolyMet) is a mineral resource exploration company. It carries out the exploration and development of copper, nickel, cobalt, platinum, palladium, silver and gold. The company owns working interest in the NorthMet project which produces copper, nickel and other base and precious metals through a long-term lease contract. PolyMet owns 100% working interest in the Erie Plant, a processing facility in the mining district of the Mesabi Iron Range in northeastern Minnesota. It also owns a processing facility and a tailings disposal facility. The company has its presence in the US and Canada. PolyMet is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
