The anti-infectives market is a strategically important market for a global pharmaceutical manufacturer. As a leader in the field, the company needs to have full visibility on competitive developments, in order to maintain its competitive edge and continue to grow revenues. The client commissioned a year-long CI tracking of key competitors and issues.

Our Solution

The scope of the service focused on the provision of ongoing coverage of competitive activity in the antibacterial and antifungal market, primarily in the US and Europe.

The tracking involved several modules: CI email alerts in response to major market events, Updated Competitor Product Profiles, Monthly Competitive Intelligence Executive Summary, Dedicated analyst/ consultant support time for the client and coverage of anti-infective related content at two conferences.

Outcome

A team of 3 London-based consultants (plus support from our Indian back office in Hyderabad) was created to provide expert support (and continuity) to the client’s stakeholder team.

The output was particularly well received, with the team being seen as advisers in internal discussions. The CI tracking was renewed for 2021.
