The number of active Technology related job postings driven by Technology in the Financial Services sector of the Asia-Pacific region decreased by 8.55% MoM, and decreased by 19.04% since October 2023, reaching 29,053 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 7,458 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 1.77% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 10,174 Technology related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 19.02% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted decreased by 17.52% and the number of Technology related jobs closed increased by 15.64%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 6.22%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.8% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 4.96%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Technology related jobs posted stood at 8,981, the average number of Technology related jobs closed stood at 10,628 and the average number of active Technology related jobs stood at 33,361.
