The number of active Blockchain related job postings in the Global Financial Services Sector decreased by 5.71% MoM, and decreased by 17.73% since October 2023, reaching 2,014 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 446 new Blockchain related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 15.21% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 568 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 20.11% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Blockchain related jobs posted decreased by 45.21% and the number of Blockchain related jobs closed decreased by 17.32%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Blockchain related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 18.17%, the number of active Blockchain related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.3% and the number of Blockchain related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 6.14%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Blockchain related jobs posted stood at 609, number of Blockchain related jobs closed stood at 685 and number of active Blockchain related jobs stood at 2,229.
