Cisco also generated its revenue through the service segment, which included technical support services and advanced services. Cisco also provides services associated with the communications and the IT industry. Apart from this Cisco generates revenue from leases.
Secure, Agile Networks: consists of Cisco’s core networking technologies of switching, enterprise routing, wireless, and computing products. These technologies consist of both hardware and software offerings, including software licenses and SaaS (software as a service), that enable customers to build networks, automate, orchestrate, integrate, and digitize data.
Hybrid Work: consists of Cisco’s collaboration offerings. These products consist primarily of software offerings, including software licenses and SaaS, as well as hardware.
End-to-End Security: consists of Cisco’s overall security offerings. These products consist of both hardware and software offerings, including software licenses and SaaS.
Internet for the Future: consists of Cisco’s routed optical networking, public 5G, silicon, and optics offerings. These products consist primarily of both hardware and software offerings, including software licenses and SaaS.
Optimized Application Experiences: consists of Cisco’s full-stack observability and cloud-native platform offerings. These products consist primarily of software offerings, including software licenses and SaaS.
