The technology industry is working towards closing the gender gap and enhancing inclusivity in the years ahead. Technology companies thrives to create flexible work and well-being programs such as free mental health counseling and childcare to promote positive work culture.

NVIDIA Corp (NVIDIA) designs and develops graphics processing units, central processing units, and system-on-a-chip units for gaming, professional visualization, data center, and automotive markets. In 2022, the technology company reported 19% women participation in its workforce, a decrease of 0.1 percentage points over 2021. At the senior management level, representation of women globally increased to 12% by 0.7 percentage points over 2021.

 

In 2022, the representation of Asian American employees in the US NVIDIA workforce was 49.2% which increased 2 percentage points from 2021. Black & African American and Hispanic & Latino employees represented 2.4% and 3.3% of the US workforce, respectively.

NVIDIA has doubled the representation of Black and African American employees in its workforce since 2020. Women continue to be promoted at an approximately equal rate to men in the company.
