T-Mobile, the wireless network provider generated quarterly revenue of $19,701 million in Q2 2022, a decrease of 2.1% as compared to the quarterly revenue of $20,120 million in Q1 2022.
T-Mobile segregated its revenue into majorly three segments namely: service revenues ($15,316 million), equipment revenues ($4,130 million), and other revenues ($255 million).
The service revenue involves postpaid revenues ($11,445 million), prepaid revenues ($2,469 million), and wholesale and other service revenues ($1,402 million).
Equipment revenues include income from the leasing of mobile communication equipment, network equipment, and office facilities.
The terms of several T-Mobile wholesale, roaming, and service contracts are subject to change based on consumption and performance. In wholesale and other service revenues, wireline service revenues are shown.
On April 1, 2020, T-Mobile completed the merger with Sprint, a communications company offering a range of wireless and wireline communications products and services. As a result, Sprint and its subsidiaries became wholly-owned consolidated subsidiaries of T-Mobile.

Customers who are eligible to pay after using wireless communications services through phones, High-speed internet, wearables, DIGITS, or other connected devices, such as tablets and SyncUP products, are considered postpaid customers.
Brand Prepaid service:
Customers that prepay for cellular communications services typically fall under the category of prepaid customers.
Wholesale and other services:
Customers who are operated by wholesale partners including machine-to-machine and mobile virtual network operators.
