Hispanic & Latinx and Black & African American employees represented 4.4% and 7.1% of the US workforce in 2022.

In leadership roles (directors and above) at VMware’s US office, the representation of Asian employees increased to 28.2% by 0.0 percentage points over 2021. Black & African American employees represented 2.2% and Hispanic & Latinx employees at 5.1% at senior levels in the US workforce in 2022.

16% of all remote US hires in VMware in 2022 were from underrepresented minorities (URM). The company has also embedded its DEI goals across the business with transparency and accountability at the leadership level.
