The number of active job postings in the Aerospace and Defense sector of Canada decreased by 0.08% MoM, and decreased by 17.35% since October 2023, reaching 2,463 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 471 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 10.82% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 473 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 41.46% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 36.69% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 25.39%
