The number of active job postings in the Aerospace and Defense sector of Germany decreased by 14.57% MoM, and decreased by 20.17% since October 2023, reaching 6,041 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 672 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 42.37% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 1,702 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 1.79% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 55.2% and the number of jobs closed increased by 23.87%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 23.48%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 7.23% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 7.4%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 1,198, number of jobs closed stood at 1,548 and number of active jobs stood at 7,064.
