The number of active job postings in the Aerospace and Defense sector of Kuwait decreased by 1.2% MoM, and decreased by 9.63% since October 2023, reaching 413 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 59 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 25.32% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 64 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 40.74% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 30.59% and the number of jobs closed increased by 10.34%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 11.46%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 3.32% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 3.34%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 68, number of jobs closed stood at 72 and number of active jobs stood at 433.
