The number of active Internet of Things related job postings in the Global Construction Sector decreased by 11.66% MoM, and decreased by 20.01% since October 2023, reaching 1,311 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 408 new Internet of Things related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 13.97% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 581 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 22.06% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Internet of Things related jobs posted increased by 19.3% and the number of Internet of Things related jobs closed increased by 83.86%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Internet of Things related jobs posted observed a growth rate of 6.06%, the number of active Internet of Things related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 7.17% and the number of Internet of Things related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 22.51%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Internet of Things related jobs posted stood at 386, number of Internet of Things related jobs closed stood at 461 and number of active Internet of Things related jobs stood at 1,509.
