The number of active job postings in the Construction sector of United Arab Emirates decreased by 23.79% MoM, and decreased by 35.09% since October 2023, reaching 740 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 295 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 18% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 526 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 61.35% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 26.98% and the number of jobs closed increased by 91.27%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 9.95%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 13.42% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 24.13%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 382, number of jobs closed stood at 450 and number of active jobs stood at 974.
