The number of active Technology related job postings in the Construction sector of United States decreased by 11.64% MoM, and decreased by 15.83% since October 2023, reaching 25,674 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 9,351 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 17.8% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 12,733 Technology related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 20.4% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted decreased by 7.31% and the number of Technology related jobs closed increased by 22.46%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 2.5%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 5.58% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 6.99%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Technology related jobs posted stood at 10,144, number of Technology related jobs closed stood at 11,428 and number of active Technology related jobs stood at 29,231.
