France: Job Trends in the Consumer Packaged Goods Sector (October 2023 - January 2024)

The number of active job postings in the Consumer Packaged Goods sector of France decreased by 15.66% MoM, and decreased by 26.07% since October 2023, reaching 6,684 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 2,767 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 23.86% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 4,008 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 46.87% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 16.3% and the number of jobs closed increased by 60.71%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 5.76%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 9.58% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 17.13%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 2,675, number of jobs closed stood at 3,061 and number of active jobs stood at 8,017.
