In the LTM period, August 2021 turned out to be the most prolific in terms of deal size, with a total deal value of $990.6 million, resulting in an average deal value of $123.8 million during that month. On the other hand, the month of September 2021 was the most prolific in terms of deal volume, recording a total of 12 deals, resulting in an average deal value of $22.7 million during that month.
Of the 69 deals, the deal secured between Itochu Corp; Jiuxing Holdings Limited; Xizhi Capital and Fosun Fashion Group, was the largest Equity Offering deal in the Asia-Pacific Consumer sector, which was valued at $300.0 million and was completed on October 11, 2021. The second-largest deal was between Hongkong Jingang Trade Holding Co Limited and Ausnutria Dairy Corporation Ltd, while the third-largest deal was between Hwabao Trust Co., Ltd.; Kwok Tai East International Group Limited and Golden Solar New Energy Technology Holdings Ltd. The Hongkong Jingang Trade Holding Co Limited-Ausnutria Dairy Corporation Ltd deal and the Hwabao Trust Co., Ltd.; Kwok Tai East International Group Limited-Golden Solar New Energy Technology Holdings Ltd deal were valued at $116.4 million and $64.1 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between LDA capital-PT Widodo Makmur Perkasa, Tbk valued at $42.0 million, whereas the deal between Oregon Group-New Zealand King Salmon Co Ltd valued at $41.1 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $563.7 million and accounted for nearly 11.31% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. The Asia-Pacific region accounted for 27.99% of the total Equity Offering deals done globally, and accounted for 1.72% of the total deal size on a global scale.
