The number of active Blockchain related job postings driven by Blockchain in the Banking and Payments sector of the Asia-Pacific region decreased by 4.6% MoM, and decreased by 16.35% since October 2023, reaching 394 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 58 new Blockchain related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 49.57% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 77 Blockchain related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 56.25% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Blockchain related jobs posted decreased by 61.07% and the number of Blockchain related jobs closed decreased by 42.11%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Blockchain related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 26.98%, the number of active Blockchain related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 5.78% and the number of Blockchain related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 16.65%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Blockchain related jobs posted stood at 117, the average number of Blockchain related jobs closed stood at 132 and the average number of active Blockchain related jobs stood at 438.
