The number of active ESG related job postings in the Global Insurance Sector decreased by 11.71% MoM, and decreased by 15.81% since October 2023, reaching 10,938 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 4,423 new ESG related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 1.27% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 5,874 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 16.41% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted decreased by 21.97% and the number of ESG related jobs closed increased by 12.79%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 7.93%, the number of active ESG related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 5.57% and the number of ESG related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 4.09%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of ESG related jobs posted stood at 5,062, number of ESG related jobs closed stood at 5,460 and number of active ESG related jobs stood at 12,318.
