India: Cybersecurity Related Job Trends in the Banking and Payments Sector (October 2023 - January 2024)

The number of active Cybersecurity related job postings in the Banking and Payments sector of India decreased by 3.1% MoM, and decreased by 11.35% since October 2023, reaching 1,093 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 462 new Cybersecurity related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 27.27% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 497 Cybersecurity related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 8.04% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cybersecurity related jobs posted increased by 5.96% and the number of Cybersecurity related jobs closed increased by 4.63%.
