The Founders Fund; Partech Africa SLP; Ribbit Capital, L.P.; Sam Altman; Sequoia Heritage; Stripe Inc-Wave Mobile Money Inc deal and the Fidelity Management & Research Company; Kingsway Capital LLP; Visa Inc-Jumo World Ltd deal were valued at $200.0 million and $120.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between Admaius Capital Partners; AfricInvest Group; Allan Gray Africa Equity Fund; AXA Investment Managers Ltd; CommerzVentures GmbH; Endeavor Catalyst; Equator Capital Partners LLC; Goodwell Investments BV; LUN Partners Group; Ulme BV; Vitruvian Partners LLP; Vlemeij BV-MFS Africa Ltd valued at $100.0 million, whereas the deal between AfricInvest Group; Allan Gray Africa Equity Fund; CDC Group Plc.; CommerzVentures GmbH; Endeavor Catalyst; Endeavor Global, Inc.; Goodwell Investments BV; LUN Partners Group; ShoreCap III LP; Tencent Holdings Ltd-MFS Africa Ltd; Tyme Bank Ltd valued at $70.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $766.7 million and accounted for nearly 67.77% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months.
