The number of active job postings in the Pharmaceuticals sector of Austria decreased by 2.9% MoM, and increased by 4.69% since October 2023, reaching 402 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 134 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 8.22% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 146 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 13.61% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted increased by 14.53% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 41.6%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a growth rate of 4.63%, the number of active job postings observed a growth rate of 1.54% and the number of jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 16.41%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 140, number of jobs closed stood at 169 and number of active jobs stood at 409.
