The number of active ESG related job postings in the Healthcare sector of Canada decreased by 3.44% MoM, and decreased by 14.39% since October 2023, reaching 4,211 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 865 new ESG related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 47.32% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 1,015 ESG related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 56.73% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted decreased by 53.94% and the number of ESG related jobs closed decreased by 29.85%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 22.77%, the number of active ESG related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 5.05% and the number of ESG related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 11.15%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of ESG related jobs posted stood at 1,587, number of ESG related jobs closed stood at 1,656 and number of active ESG related jobs stood at 4,639.
