The number of active job postings in the Pharmaceuticals sector of Switzerland decreased by 18.88% MoM, and decreased by 13.64% since October 2023, reaching 1,633 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 442 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 18.75% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 822 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 100.49% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 23.4% and the number of jobs closed increased by 62.45%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 8.5%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 4.77% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 17.55%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 501, number of jobs closed stood at 547 and number of active jobs stood at 1,854.
