The number of active job postings in the Insurance sector of Hong Kong decreased by 15.95% MoM, and decreased by 31.96% since October 2023, reaching 743 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 222 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 7.5% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 363 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 8.36% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted increased by 1.37% and the number of jobs closed increased by 24.74%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a growth rate of 0.45%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 12.05% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 7.65%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 241, number of jobs closed stood at 346 and number of active jobs stood at 924.
