Snap’s Average Revenue per User (ARPU) for the first quarter of 2022 was $3.2, down by almost $0.86 as compared to the previous quarter’s ARPU of $4.06.
Snapchat has attracted more users to its platform sequentially and year-over-year, thus making it more appealing to potential and existing advertisers. In Q1 2022, Snap had 332 million daily active users which generated $1.06 billion in revenue, thus leading to a revenue of $3.2 from every user. Similarly, in Q4 2021, although the number of daily active users stood at 319 million users, which is less than DAUs in Q1 2022, the ARPU was significantly higher, $4.06, since the revenue generated in Q4 2021 amounted to $1.3 billion.
