The number of active job postings in the Leisure and Arts sector of the Europe region decreased by 5.97% MoM, and decreased by 14.33% since October 2023, reaching 32,925 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 57,539 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 10.07% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 59,628 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 14.17% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted increased by 85.95% and the number of jobs closed increased by 39.86%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a growth rate of 22.97%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 5.02% and the number of jobs closed observed a growth rate of 11.83%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 55,986, number of jobs closed stood at 60,285 and number of active jobs stood at 36,717.
