Of the 405 deals, the deal secured between Orion Mine Finance Fund III LP; Wheaton Precious Metals Corp; Zhaojin International Mining Co., Ltd. and Sabina Gold & Silver Corp, was the largest Equity Offering deal in the Canada Mining sector, which was valued at $30.9 million and was completed on February 8, 2022. The second-largest deal was between Clarus Securities Inc and Encore Energy Corp., while the third-largest deal was between Orion Mine Finance Fund III LP; Wheaton Precious Metals Corp and Sabina Gold & Silver Corp. The Clarus Securities Inc-Encore Energy Corp. deal and the Orion Mine Finance Fund III LP; Wheaton Precious Metals Corp-Sabina Gold & Silver Corp deal were valued at $15.0 million and $12.4 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between Eric Sprott-Goldspot Discoveries Inc valued at $7.5 million, whereas the deal between European Bank for Reconstruction and Development-Euro Manganese Inc valued at $6.7 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $72.6 million and accounted for nearly 5.25% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months.
