The number of active Cloud related job postings driven by Cloud in the Oil and Gas sector of the Asia-Pacific region decreased by 7.43% MoM, and decreased by 13.37% since October 2023, reaching 162 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 32 new Cloud related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 21.95% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 45 Cloud related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 29.69% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted decreased by 37.25% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed decreased by 43.04%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 14.39%, the number of active Cloud related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 4.67% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 17.1%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Cloud related jobs posted stood at 46, the average number of Cloud related jobs closed stood at 59 and the average number of active Cloud related jobs stood at 180.
