The second-largest deal was between Startree Investments Pte Ltd and Sembcorp Marine Ltd, while the third-largest deal was between Mitsui & Co Ltd and Mainstream Renewable Power Ltd. The Startree Investments Pte Ltd-Sembcorp Marine Ltd deal and the Mitsui & Co Ltd-Mainstream Renewable Power Ltd deal were valued at $1,114.9 million and $633.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between China Huarong Asset Management Co Ltd; China Life Insurance Company; ICBC Financial Asset Investment Co., Limited-CNOOC Ltd valued at $624.9 million, whereas the deal between Primavera Capital Group-Envision Energy Ltd valued at $600.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $4,440.2 million and accounted for nearly 6.69% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. By region, North America accounted for 34.38% of the total Equity Offering deals done globally, and recorded a total deal value of $24,207.0 million, which accounted for 39.38% of the total deal size on a global scale.
