The number of active Artificial Intelligence related job postings in the Global Oil and Gas Sector decreased by 8.05% MoM, and decreased by 18.07% since October 2023, reaching 902 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 281 new Artificial Intelligence related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 14.23% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 360 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 3.15% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted decreased by 38.91% and the number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed decreased by 4%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 15.15%, the number of active Artificial Intelligence related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 6.43% and the number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 1.35%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted stood at 333, number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed stood at 361 and number of active Artificial Intelligence related jobs stood at 1,017.
