On the other hand, the month of April 2022 was the most prolific in terms of deal volume, recording a total of 6 deals, resulting in an average deal value of $100.6 million during that month.
Of the 32 deals, the deal secured between Asian Development Bank and Government of India, was the largest Debt Offering deal in the India Oil & Gas sector, which was valued at $1,500.0 million and was completed on November 25, 2021. The second-largest deal was between KfW Development Bank and REC Ltd, while the third-largest deal was between Asian Development Bank and Government of India. The KfW Development Bank-REC Ltd deal and the Asian Development Bank-Government of India deal were valued at $169.5 million and $100.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between Societe Generale SA-L&T Finance Ltd valued at $26.4 million
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $1,795.9 million and accounted for nearly 15.48% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months.
