The number of active Technology related job postings driven by Technology in the Oil and Gas sector of the Middle East and Africa region decreased by 23.32% MoM, and decreased by 13.87% since October 2023, reaching 503 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 139 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 40.4% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 292 Technology related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 35.81% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted decreased by 17.75% and the number of Technology related jobs closed increased by 111.59%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 6.31%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 4.86% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 28.38%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Technology related jobs posted stood at 198, the average number of Technology related jobs closed stood at 210 and the average number of active Technology related jobs stood at 628.
