The Axens SA; LetterOne Holdings SA; M&G Investments-Plastic Energy Ltd deal and the Bonum Capital Ltd-Segezha Group deal were valued at $167.7 million and $150.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between Arborview Capital; Goldman Sachs Asset Management LP; Harbert Growth Partners; Revolution Growth; SJF Ventures, LP; Tao Capital Partners; Wheatsheaf Group Ltd-Temperpack Technologies Inc valued at $140.0 million, whereas the deal between Portobello Capital, S.L.-Caiba SA valued at $133.9 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $3,191.6 million and accounted for nearly 51.78% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. By region, North America accounted for 50.68% of the total Private Equity/Venture Financing deals done globally, and recorded a total deal value of $3,124.0 million, which accounted for 30.12% of the total deal size on a global scale.
