Of the 72 deals, the deal secured between International Holding Company PJSC and Adani Enterprises Ltd, was the largest Equity Offering deal in the Asia-Pacific Power & Utilities sector, which was valued at $999.0 million and was completed on April 8, 2022. The second-largest deal was between Primavera Capital Group and Envision Energy Ltd, while the third-largest deal was between International Holding Company PJSC and Adani Green Energy Ltd. The Primavera Capital Group-Envision Energy Ltd deal and the International Holding Company PJSC-Adani Green Energy Ltd deal were valued at $600.0 million and $500.5 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between International Holding Company PJSC-Adani Green Energy Ltd; Adani Transmission Ltd valued at $498.1 million, whereas the deal between Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand-RATCH Group PCL valued at $334.6 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $3,095.7 million and accounted for nearly 21.25% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. The Asia-Pacific region accounted for 18.47% of the total Equity Offering deals done globally, and accounted for 1.26% of the total deal size on a global scale.
