The second-largest deal was between Equatorial Energia SA and Echoenergia Participacoes SA, while the third-largest deal was between CPFL Comercializacao de Energia Cone Sul Ltda. (CPFL Cone Sul) and Companhia Estatual de Transmissao de Energia Eletrica (CEEE-T). The Equatorial Energia SA-Echoenergia Participacoes SA deal and the CPFL Comercializacao de Energia Cone Sul Ltda. (CPFL Cone Sul)-Companhia Estatual de Transmissao de Energia Eletrica (CEEE-T) deal were valued at $1,178.3 million and $520.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between Eletroriver S.A.; Energetica SA-Brasil PCH SA valued at $195.0 million, whereas the deal between Eneva SA-Focus Energia Ltda valued at $162.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $4,055.4 million and accounted for nearly 88.42% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months.
