The second-largest deal was between BNP Paribas SA; Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce; Lloyds Bank Plc; MUFG Bank Ltd; NatWest Group Plc; Santander UK PLC; SMBC; Societe Generale SA; The Toronto-Dominion Bank; Wells Fargo & Co and Lightsource BP Renewable Energy Investments Ltd, while the third-largest deal was between Ares Management Corp and RSK Group Ltd. The BNP Paribas SA; Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce; Lloyds Bank Plc; MUFG Bank Ltd; NatWest Group Plc; Santander UK PLC; SMBC; Societe Generale SA; The Toronto-Dominion Bank; Wells Fargo & Co-Lightsource BP Renewable Energy Investments Ltd deal and the Ares Management Corp-RSK Group Ltd deal were valued at $1,800.0 million and $1,386.3 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between European Bank for Reconstruction and Development-Aydem Renewables Energy Inc valued at $750.0 million, whereas the deal between Banca Nazionale del Lavoro SpA; Banco Santander SA; BNP Paribas SA; Citigroup Inc; Intesa Sanpaolo SpA; JPMorgan Chase & Co; Mediobanca - Banca di Credito Finanziario SpA; Societe Generale SA; UniCredit SpA-A2A SpA valued at $592.6 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $6,560.6 million and accounted for nearly 6.53% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. The Europe region accounted for 33.45% of the total Debt Offering deals done globally, and accounted for 0.65% of the total deal size on a global scale.
