In the LTM period, March 2022 turned out to be the most prolific in terms of deal size, with a total deal value of $5,038.4 million, resulting in an average deal value of $629.8 million during that month. On the other hand, the month of November 2021 was the most prolific in terms of deal volume, recording a total of 10 deals, resulting in an average deal value of $94.1 million during that month.
Of the 70 deals, the deal secured between Mitsui & Co Ltd and Mainstream Renewable Power Ltd, was the largest Equity Offering deal in the Europe Power & Utilities sector, which was valued at $633.0 million and was completed on March 24, 2022. The second-largest deal was between Arkin Group; Menora Mivtachim Insurance Ltd; Migdal Insurance & Financial Holdings Ltd and Fu-Gen AG, while the third-largest deal was between R Green Invest SAS and NW Groupe. The Arkin Group; Menora Mivtachim Insurance Ltd; Migdal Insurance & Financial Holdings Ltd-Fu-Gen AG deal and the R Green Invest SAS-NW Groupe deal were valued at $345.4 million and $316.6 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between Bertrand Gautier; Marco Graziano; Ronan Murphy-Greencoat Renewables PLC valued at $312.9 million, whereas the deal between 547 Energy LLC-Aer Soleir LLC valued at $250.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $1,857.9 million and accounted for nearly 17.89% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. The Europe region accounted for 13.17% of the total Equity Offering deals done globally, and accounted for 2.09% of the total deal size on a global scale.
