The number of active Cloud related job postings driven by Cloud in the Power sector of the Asia-Pacific region decreased by 8.97% MoM, and increased by 24.13% since October 2023, reaching 355 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 144 new Cloud related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 29.06% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 179 Cloud related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 9.6% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted increased by 54.84% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed decreased by 17.89%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted observed a growth rate of 15.69%, the number of active Cloud related job postings observed a growth rate of 7.47% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 6.36%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Cloud related jobs posted stood at 179, the average number of Cloud related jobs closed stood at 193 and the average number of active Cloud related jobs stood at 354.
