The number of active Artificial Intelligence related job postings in the Global Power Sector decreased by 7.96% MoM, and increased by 0.28% since October 2023, reaching 1,064 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 384 new Artificial Intelligence related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 4.48% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 476 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 23.64% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted increased by 27.57% and the number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed decreased by 11.03%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted observed a growth rate of 8.46%, the number of active Artificial Intelligence related job postings observed a growth rate of 0.09% and the number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 3.82%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted stood at 395, number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed stood at 453 and number of active Artificial Intelligence related jobs stood at 1,105.
