The number of active Governance related job postings in the Global Power Sector decreased by 4.11% MoM, and decreased by 4.34% since October 2023, reaching 2,732 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 687 new Governance related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 7.54% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 804 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 17.72% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Governance related jobs posted decreased by 16.93% and the number of Governance related jobs closed decreased by 25.14%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Governance related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 6%, the number of active Governance related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 1.47% and the number of Governance related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 9.2%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Governance related jobs posted stood at 784, number of Governance related jobs closed stood at 877 and number of active Governance related jobs stood at 2,806.
