The number of active Internet of Things related job postings in the Global Power Sector decreased by 6.94% MoM, and decreased by 4.67% since October 2023, reaching 898 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 440 new Internet of Things related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 12.52% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 507 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 14.71% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Internet of Things related jobs posted increased by 20.88% and the number of Internet of Things related jobs closed decreased by 40.56%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Internet of Things related jobs posted observed a growth rate of 6.52%, the number of active Internet of Things related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 1.58% and the number of Internet of Things related jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 15.92%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Internet of Things related jobs posted stood at 462, number of Internet of Things related jobs closed stood at 596 and number of active Internet of Things related jobs stood at 927.
