The second-largest deal was between Authentic Brands Group LLC and Reebok International Ltd, while the third-largest deal was between Sonic Automotive Inc and RFJ Auto Partners, Inc.. The Authentic Brands Group LLC-Reebok International Ltd deal and the Sonic Automotive Inc-RFJ Auto Partners, Inc. deal were valued at $2,500.0 million and $950.2 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between Signet Jewelers Ltd-Diamonds Direct USA Inc. valued at $490.0 million, whereas the deal between KAR Auction Services Inc-CARWAVE Holdings LLC valued at $450.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $7,290.2 million and accounted for nearly 59.93% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months.
