The number of active job postings in the Retailing sector of Sweden decreased by 0.35% MoM, and increased by 15.65% since October 2023, reaching 2,549 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 703 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 53.47% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 712 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 47.18% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 53.57% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 53.16%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 22.56%, the number of active job postings observed a growth rate of 4.97% and the number of jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 22.34%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 1,393, number of jobs closed stood at 1,308 and number of active jobs stood at 2,426.
