The second-largest deal was between Orient Hontai Capital and Mediaproduccion SLU, while the third-largest deal was between PCP Capital Partners LLP; RB Sports & Media; The Saudi Public Investment Fund and Newcastle United plc. The Orient Hontai Capital-Mediaproduccion SLU deal and the PCP Capital Partners LLP; RB Sports & Media; The Saudi Public Investment Fund-Newcastle United plc deal were valued at $698.8 million and $408.0 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between Sixth Street Specialty Lending Inc-The Liga Nacional de Futbol Profesional valued at $215.6 million, whereas the deal between Ares Management Corp; David Beckham; Jorge Mas; Jose Mas-Major League Soccer LLC valued at $150.0 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $2,312.4 million and accounted for nearly 65.79% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months. By region, Europe accounted for 41.51% of the total Private Equity/Venture Financing deals done globally, and recorded a total deal value of $1,457.1 million, which accounted for 26.83% of the total deal size on a global scale.
