China: Cloud Related Job Trends in the Technology and Communications Sector (October 2023 - January 2024)

The number of active Cloud related job postings in the Technology and Communications sector of China decreased by 5.17% MoM, and decreased by 6.12% since October 2023, reaching 1,487 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 304 new Cloud related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 20.16% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 385 Cloud related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 25.41% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted increased by 6.29% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed increased by 79.91%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Cloud related jobs posted observed a growth rate of 2.06%, the number of active Cloud related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 2.08% and the number of Cloud related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 21.62%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Cloud related jobs posted stood at 307, number of Cloud related jobs closed stood at 313 and number of active Cloud related jobs stood at 1,565.
