The number of active Technology related job postings in the Technology and Communications sector of Egypt decreased by 7.35% MoM, and decreased by 5.34% since October 2023, reaching 567 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 171 new Technology related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 31.6% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 216 Technology related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 7.3% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted decreased by 10.94% and the number of Technology related jobs closed increased by 6.93%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Technology related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 3.79%, the number of active Technology related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 1.81% and the number of Technology related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 2.26%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Technology related jobs posted stood at 211, number of Technology related jobs closed stood at 222 and number of active Technology related jobs stood at 593.
