The number of active Artificial Intelligence related job postings in the Global Technology and Communications Sector decreased by 8.2% MoM, and decreased by 11.76% since October 2023, reaching 51,041 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 16,262 new Artificial Intelligence related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 8.9% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 20,824 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 7.29% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted decreased by 13.86% and the number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed increased by 27.54%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 4.85%, the number of active Artificial Intelligence related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 4.09% and the number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 8.45%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted stood at 18,517, number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed stood at 19,581 and number of active Artificial Intelligence related jobs stood at 56,175.
