The number of active Artificial Intelligence related job postings in the Technology and Communications sector of India decreased by 15.06% MoM, and decreased by 6.26% since October 2023, reaching 6,634 active job postings in January 2024
A total of 2,718 new Artificial Intelligence related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 19.51% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 3,894 Artificial Intelligence related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 19.19% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted increased by 3.94% and the number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed increased by 100.41%.
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted observed a growth rate of 1.3%, the number of active Artificial Intelligence related job postings observed a negative growth rate of 2.13% and the number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed observed a growth rate of 26.08%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs posted stood at 2,962, number of Artificial Intelligence related jobs closed stood at 2,904 and number of active Artificial Intelligence related jobs stood at 7,305.
